    It was smart of Disney to include most of the heroines in their animated features. The original Disney princesses were either royal by birth or by marriage. These are Snow White, Sleeping Beauty (who we seem to know as Princess Aurora now), Belle, Ariel, Cinderella, and Jasmine. They also seem to have added Pocahontas & Mulan to the mix which is good although they have no royal blood. And we have 3 more princesses to look forward to over the next 2 years, yippee.
