Critics and I think true animation aficionados are calling this one not too great and the bar was set pretty far up when Kung Fu Panda came out. Other than Panda and Shrek, not too many have liked very many DreamWorks Animation pictures. Of course most of these are die hard Pixar fans. What did you guys think of the film? The premise is neat, monsters fighting aliens and a throw back to the old 50's sci-fi films. And is it too violent for kids?

Originally this was to be called American Dog by the Lilo & Stitch director, but John Lasseter and Disney higher ups came in and replaced him by tweaking the dog. He was brown before he became white. I think the new version works, but the humor and this new painted-look background suits the flick.

Hannah Montana is by far Disney's most successful franchise. Miley Cyrus is their $1 billion dollar girl. Who would have thought Pax's Doc would have a superstar daughter. Now not that she is a spectacular singer or the greatest actress, or her accent is as clear as it could be. But she has heart & the other secondary cast members help out a lot too. Of course when she launches into her country/hickey grrr accent, it lends legitimacy to her character. She still needs to be raised right as she is still a child but that probably won't happen.

I like the show and especially the way it opens up. It goes by quickly though, with older 80's style sitcoms, they seemed longer when you watch them. After a few commercials Hannah Montana is over in a flash. Still with the third season coming up, it promises to have more adventures as Miley starts high school.

It was smart of Disney to include most of the heroines in their animated features. The original Disney princesses were either royal by birth or by marriage. These are Snow White, Sleeping Beauty (who we seem to know as Princess Aurora now), Belle, Ariel, Cinderella, and Jasmine. They also seem to have added Pocahontas & Mulan to the mix which is good although they have no royal blood. And we have 3 more princesses to look forward to over the next 2 years, yippee.

I'm glad that Disney decided to give Tink and her friends their very own movie - Tinkerbell. A magical world of fairies adds dimension to the already prolific Disney library. It would be interesting to see how the fairies interact with one another since I have not seen anything other than Peter Pan.

Is there anything this guy doesn't work on? He's lent his voice to the Hoodwinked series, Emperor's New Groove/School, Family Guy, Bee Movie, Chicken Little ... and my first personal favorite Kim Possible among many many others. He's now the voice of Titan in the new film Space Chimps.

There are other names in this movie including Stanley Tucci & Jeff Daniels.

Here's the situation. A billion-dollar NASA probe disappeared in a wormhole and they recruit chimpanzees to go and retrieve the spacecraft only to find a terrible galactic overlord they must face. From the makers of Shrek, this looks like it might be entertaining.

Who would have ever thought that the dad of that "Eat my Shorts" lad that skateboards in each week would become more popular and even the star of the show. When the program started one would think Bart Simpson would be the star, but gradually it was Homer we see that is the most dynamic character and the one we identify more with.

The Simpsons are now the longest running sitcom in history, not to mention the longest running animated television series. And who would have known that the writers could sustain the amount of ideas for this long! The truth is the animation IS funny and quite witty. I never did care for the celebrated Halloween specials. It's amazing how many primary, secondary, and even tertiary characters there are in this series. And each and every one is interesting in their own right. We don't necessarily have to see and hear members of the Simpsons family to be entertained.

By the way ... where exactly is Springfield again?

I remember like it was two months ago. The first time my sister came home with a Cabbage Patch Kid' preemie doll, which are smaller premature versions of the larger kids. It had the extremely hard head and his name was Teddy Jefferson! Boy his head went through the ringer. But having a tough noggin saved him throughout the years. We even still have his adoption certificate from Cleveland GA, still signed by Sis, scanned and filed away for some nostalgic day to come.

Do you remember your first Cabbage Patch Kid? They sold 2 million in the first 6 months on the market and about 95 million leading right up to the new Millennium.

Did you know Bratz outsold Barbie for the first time in the UK? Barbie was worried - so much that Mattel sued the makers of Bratz. Now some have been critical of the doll line for obvious reasons. I think that's why the girls with the passion for fashion have cleaned up from their ghetto image and wear different clothing. What do you guys think?

That's what Disney is doing. Why mess up the balance of things when the live action tween programming is working so well for them. You've got the Suite Life, Life with Derek, Raven, Cory in the House, and let's not forget the billion dollar enterprise that is Hannah Montana. After Selena Gomez (who is pretty cute in her own right and I might add can carry her own show very well) played Hannah's nemesis, Disney gave her a show of her own.

David Henrie is steals the show quite frequently as actors do. It's delightful to watch as I can only stomach so much disney channel programming. What do you guys think? By the way we have added the Wizards of Waverly Place to our own family here. Yes, yes including that intoxicating song. Everything's not as it seems ...

I must admit when Seinfeld came on the air I didn't notice it until about the fourth season. Same with Ben 10! About the time I heard the catchy theme song and saw the fresh faced kids fight with alien super powers, the sequel show named Ben 10: Alien Force was already in production. How could I have missed this for 4 years. Could I have been in the preschool world of cartoons too long?

Or perhaps watching Boomerang and the Justice League prevented me from checking out the Cartoon Network for fresh shows. Either way, I think Man of Action was smart to put this together. Hope you guys like it on the site!

I think Pixar and ultimately Disney here have another hit on their hands, a ninth-consecutive one if you will. Well planned and thought out. However critics don't like the first 40 minutes with no dialogue whatsoever. The use of only using the eyes to display emotion and personification is brilliant in that there is no need for a nose, mouth, or ears!

Some think it's a little bold to tackle environmental issues in WALL-E, while other activists assail it for not going far enough. The director says it's a message you can accept or ignore. What say you?

What does everyone think about the new revamp of Strawberry Shortcake character line? Obviously certain pets were renamed and repaired with different characters. Other friends were rethemed, renamed, and recharacterized from the original 1980s characters. Personally the new ones are quite colorful and seem to go with the times. But they are too much like Bratz, which I do not like nor do I like the name. It's connotation is not good :(

I guess I am nostalgic and yearn for the past.
